The original Cache-A-Maniacs Podcast launched in 2007 and was retired at the end of 2011 having interviewed more than 250 Geocachers over its five year run. Each episode featured a candid, uncut, and irregular interview with a member of the Geocaching community. Those episodes are still available through this website, iTunes or any other podcatching client. He would like to travel around the world to meet all of the folks that publish geocaching podcasts. He suggests geocaching in Minnesota, specifically the Twin Cities for its large number of quality hides, and The Iron Range for beautiful scenery. When not geocaching, he likes to use Foursquare, volunteer with the Boy Scouts, camping, and podcasting. He produces the Twin Cities GeoCaching PodCast. His favourite band is They Might Be Giants, enjoyed reading Game Of Thrones, and likes watching action and comedy movies.

He would like to visit Hawaii because of the beautiful area and Germany for their reputation for higher quality, higher terrain caches. He reccomends downtown Charleston, SC for its rich history. He enjoys customizing classic cars and trucks. His favorite authors include Clive Clussler and Frank Herbert, favorite shows include Supernatural and Big Bang Theory, and the original Star Wars trilogy is his movie of choice. He listens to a lot of hard rock and heavy metal bands like Metallica and Megadeth.

She would like to do a bicycle tour of Mackinac Island. She would also like to find caches in all 50 states, and integrate the experience with her kids home schooling. She recommends doing the earthcaches at Mammoth Cave National Park as a great way to see the area, and Surprise, Arizona for the amazing views. Besides caching she is a voice teacher who enjoys music and singing. She likes John Grisham novels, and mystery shows like NCIS and CSI. One of her favorite podcasts is Geocaching Podcast.
