We talk with e6c about the two caches he sent into space for the twenty-seventh beta episode. We spoke with him for the original Cache-A-Maniacs series on episode 233 as he was preparing for this second launch. That second launch took place at the Geocache in Space "L.E.I.F." MMXII Launch Party! (GC3M45Z) where he included the www.CacheAManiacs.com in Space! (TB4QENA) traveler (which will be joining the Bad Cop at a couple of events before going free somewhere in Washington). Video from this launch is available on YouTube and HeadHardHat also did a video on the event. e6c used a SPOT Satellite GPS Messenger 2 as the onboard tracking device for the vehicle. The payload also included the Drift HD170 Stealth, Kodak Zi6, and Garmin Foretrex 101. |
